Get ready to groove and celebrate!
Michael Ellison invites the community to “The Best of the 70th Day Party Celebration,” a special event designed to honor the classes of the seventies, celebrate 70th birthdays, and bring together friends for a day of nostalgia and fun.
This exclusive party is dedicated to anyone who is 70, turning 70, or has already celebrated their 70th birthday. It’s also a reunion for all classes of the seventies from local high schools, including Hillhouse, Cross, Lee, High School in the Community, West Haven, and Hamden High Schools.
Event Details:
· Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025
· Time: Noon
· Location: The Vue (formerly Laurel View Country Club), 310 West Shepard Ave., Hamden, CT 06514
· Ticket Price: $75 per person (includes a delicious buffet with two entrees, drink specials for the first 50 attendees, and live music by DJ Diamond and trumpeter William Fluker).
· Honoring: New Haven Legends – Odell Cohens, Melvin Wearing, James Courtney, and Gregory Cross – all recognized as Men of Valor.
Guests are welcome to reserve tables for their birthday celebrations or for groups of 10 or more. To add a personal touch, guests are encouraged to decorate their reserved tables.
While not mandatory, attendees are highly encouraged to dress in their best seventies attire to fully immerse themselves in the groovy atmosphere of the celebration!
