Biography
This '90s R&B vocal group should not be confused with the late-'70s Philadelphia band, which was a funk -oriented unit, or the vocal trio Silk from Los Angeles. Timothy Cameron , Jimmy Gates, Jr. , Jonathen Rasboro , Gary Jenkins , and Gary Glenn issued their debut LP, Lose Control , in 1992 and have excited urban contemporary audiences, particularly women, with their engaging harmonies and aggressively suggestive material. Their single "Freak Me" was a huge hit in 1993; two years later, the group issued a self-titled LP for Elektra , followed in 1999 by Tonight . Love Session appeared in spring 2001. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
