This workshop covers the basic principles of storytelling and their application in the workplace.
Participants will be invited to share a story idea, develop the story based on the storytelling principles and present a four minute version to the group. The workshop will review how to apply the principles of storytelling to various types of business communications such as sales presentations, marketing material, leadership development, employee engagement and pitches for new business. The group will apply the narrative principles to enhance the ideas proposed by the group. requirements for participants:Please prepare a personal story idea for the first part of class and a short business communication – a pitch, marketing material, leadership challenge, bio – for the second part of class.
