Topic: "The Millionaire Men of the South Side Sportsmen's Club and the Beginning of the South Shore Gold Coast." The Program will be presented by Ginny Fields, former NY State Assemblywoman and present Friends of Connetquot board member. Ginny will discuss how the South Side Sportsmen’s Club gave rise to Islip and other nearby communities. This lecture promises to be another jewel in the many faceted history of Long Island. Bring a friend to enjoy this unique program being held in historic surroundings, admission and are Free. The program will be held at the main building in Connetquot River State Park and Preserve.
