Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 8:30 PM Each month a guest poet presents a reading after which the audience is encouraged to share original works at an open mic. This month's guest reader is Lucas Hunt, author of Lives and Light on the Concrete, two critically acclaimed collections of poetry. His poems have also appeared in several literary reviews, including Slice, Confrontation, Anderbo, and Proteus. Lucas attended the Poetry Writer's Workshop at the University of Iowa and completed his M.F.A. at Southampton College. He is the recipient of a John Steinbeck Award for poetry, and lives in East Hampton, where he works at a literary agency.
