Chase, DDS as a recipient of a 2013 OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY AWARD. Dr. Chase will be honored on Wednesday, February 6th at the Westbury Manor for his outstanding contributions toward the advancement and education of science and technology.Please help support Dr. Chase in his goal to raise a minimum of $1,000 for this important fundraiser.Proceeds support the Science Museum of Long Island's programs and services for the children and families of the region! A summary of Dr. Chase's impressive list of accomplishments:Dr. Chase is a dentist practicing for over 35 years, currently in Melville, Long Island. Although he spent most of his career in general dentistry, he has recently dedicated his practice to the treatment of patients suffering from Sleep Apnea and Snoring. In his practice, Dr. Chase has incorporated use of the advancements in the science of Neuro-muscular dentistry and Cranio-facial growth and metric analysis, along with the advancements in cellular mobile technology for compliance monitoring, and applied them to the technology of Oral Appliance Therapy for Sleep Breathing Disorders.Dr. Chase is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of SleepUp, Inc., an Israeli medical engineering company developing new Sleep Apnea and Snoring Oral Appliance technology.He is a guest lecturer at Stony Brook University on therapy for Sleep Apnea and Snoring to the Respiratory Care and Polysomnography students and a member Advisory Committees for the CoARC accredited Respiratory Care and Polysomnography Specialty Option and CoASPG accredited Polysomnography Technology Program.Dr. Chase is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, and American Academy of Cranio-Facial Pain, American Academy of Oro-Facial Pain, American Dental Association, the National Sleep Foundation and the Sleep Apnea Association.The inaugural ADVOCATES FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY AWARDS takes place on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, 6pm to 8pm, at Westbury Manor.
