Join the New Haven Chorale in collaboration with the choir of St. Theresa Church, the Hartt Chorale, and orchestra in a gala concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of Trumbull’s St. Theresa Church, featuring Haydn’s ‘Nelson Mass’ (Missa in Angustiis or Mass in Time of Fear), a powerful masterwork composed during a time of social upheaval with many parallels to today, a work for our time as much as Haydn’s. Come experience its cathartic powers with the Chorale in one of Connecticut’s most extraordinarily beautiful sacred spaces.
