"Stem Cell Research: what is it all about?” with Ute M. Moll, M.D., Stony Brook University
Thursday, March 21, 2013 – 6:30 pm
Dr. Moll will discuss the biology of stem cells and the benefits of therapeutic and reproductive cloning. She will also discuss stem-cell treatments, and despite clinical disagreements, their potential use in regenerative medicine. She explores how approved use of stem-cell treatments will require long-term systematic research.
