Our moderated book discussion takes place on the fourth Thursday of every month. This month's book is "Vanity Fair" by William Makepeace Thackeray. Thackeray's masterpiece chronicles the exploits of Becky Sharp, an unscrupulous young woman who is determined to achieve wealth and social success in England during the turmoil of the Napoleonic wars. Enjoy meeting informally with others to discuss and analyze characters and plots. Copies may be picked up four weeks before the book discussion at the Circulation Desk.
