12/29 ~ S.W.A.N.A. (WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP)
The Fourth Annual Kwanzaa celebration presented by S.W.A.N.A., a woman support group, is being held Dec. 29th at 1:00pm at 303 Washington Ave. in New Haven. Our Mastor of Ceremony will be Elaine Peters. We will be featuring Shari Caldwell and the Caldwell dancers. Guest speakers will be Asscociate Prof. Clifton Bush, who is dedicated to the struggles of African American History as well as other inspiring speakers. The National Black Anthem will be sung by the impeccable Dana Fripp. We will also have a movie presentation featuring, "500 Years Later", a film written , directed and produced by African Americans.
