Learn about increasingly popular nano-reefs as New England’s winter begins! A nano-reef is a small aquarium stocked with crustaceans, fish, and select corals found in tropical regions. Specialists from premier local aquaria source House of Fins will present the diverse and often colorful aquaria displays and will discuss the sustainability of the hobby at 2 pm. Seaside Center naturalists will compare our Long Island Sound aquariums to the tropical set-ups. Related crafts and activities will be offered. Presented by House of Fins and the Bruce Museum.
