The Emerson Quartet is Eugene Drucker, violin; Philip Setzer, violin; Lawrence Dutton, viola; and David Finckel, cello. Since 2002, in addition to their busy concert schedule touring the world, the Emerson has been Quartet-in-Residence at Stony Brook University, where they coach chamber music, give master classes and provide instrumental instruction. Program: Mozart, D Major Quartet, K. 499 “Hoffmeister”; Bartòk, 3rd Quartet; and Dvorák, D Minor Quartet, Op. 34.
